
Meet Rebecca Moyes, M.Ed.
Rebecca Moyes, M.Ed., is a parent and former teacher for nine years in public and private schools in Pennsylvania.
She is the author of six books in the field of autism and special education. Rebecca currently serves as a special education consultant for several school districts in Western Pennsylvania and has created a unique extended school year model for three of these districts through her company: Grade Point Resources.
She was a six-year speaker for the Bureau of Education Research (BER) and has traveled internationally, providing training to educators in 47 states of the U.S. and Canada.
Rebecca is the founder of the AVID Learning Center, a therapy site for children with developmental delays. Rebecca holds an autism certificate in PA and has completed advanced coursework in applied behavioral analysis and verbal behavior. As a stakeholder, Rebecca served on Pennsylvania State Governor Ridge’s Task Force for Autism.
